Calvary Baptist Church has provided the AWANA program to the children of Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula community for decades since its founding. It provides much-needed, scripture-based learning for children, allowing God's Word to grow in their hearts and leading to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  AWANA, a world-wide nonprofit ministry, gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.

Three different groups for kids [ages 3 years (potty trained) through 6th grade] help kids to best connect with their peers and learn while building friendships.
